Nashville calls to artists regardless of background or aspiration.  Its generational roots of Country music have splintered into an overlapping garden containing myriad genres.  Technical prowess and adaptive musicianship is required for those that participate in the city’s vibrant and interconnected culture of music-making.  The members of Fortest converged here, drawn by the opportunity to be absorbed into the innovative sounds and collaborative process that make Nashville “music city”.  

Fortest is a collective.  All active musicians in the local scene, they join together to compose and produce music for film, web, and TV.  Whether it’s composition, engineering, mixing, sound design, or editing, each member combines their abilities to apply any aspect of music and sound production to any given project.
